Kisha Howard-Schramm FNP-C

With over 30 years of experience in healthcare, Kisha Howard-Schramm began her career as a bedside nurse, spending two decades providing care in some of the most sensitive and high-acuity environments, including the neonatal ICU, pediatric ICU, and pediatric emergency/trauma units. These formative years shaped her clinical expertise and deepened her commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

For the past decade, Kisha has served as a Family Nurse Practitioner, expanding her impact to individuals and families across all stages of life. However, as the healthcare landscape became increasingly corporatized, she grew disillusioned with systems that prioritized efficiency over empathy—where patients were often treated as numbers rather than people.

Motivated by a desire to restore integrity and connection in patient care, Kisha opened her own independent practice. Her mission is to offer healthcare as it should be: rooted in trust, transparency, and real human connection. No call centers. No impersonal systems. Just honest communication and respectful, individualized care.

Kisha believes that medicine is most effective when built on mutual respect and open dialogue. She considers it a profound honor to be entrusted with her patients' health and well-being and is dedicated to providing thoughtful, relationship-based care every day.

Outside of her practice, Kisha finds strength and balance through the unwavering support of her family. Her husband, James, and their three children—James, Bella, and Nathan—are her foundation and daily reminder of the importance of caring not just for others, but for oneself as well.
